Review:
This is a beautiful B&B. They urge guests to recycle by listing the items that can be recycled and telling guests where to leave the items, but then they offer styrofoam plates for order-out food eaten in the guestroom.

I had one CFL in my room, but the rest of the bulbs were energy-consuming incandescent bulbs. One's a good start; I hope more are to soon follow.

My towels were 100% cotton but my sheets were a poly-cotton blend. But the bed was wonderfully comfortable, minus the smell of the dryer sheets on the sheets.

I was pleased with having ample light in my room -- lights on either side of the bed, at the desk, by the reading chair an one extra in the room. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and well appointed with a flat-screen TV, armoir, an easy chair and a luggage rack. The bathroom was well-lit and functional.

The waste baskets were lined with plastic bags, ruining the look of the nice container, and adding unnecessary trash to the landfill - and the containers were durable enough to not need any liner. But my shower was a nice glass-enclosed shower so there wasn't any plastic shower curtain liner.

The wi-fi was strong, the TV reception good, and the CD player provided lovely mood music. Staff was gracious and warm, and the snacks were sweet and abundant. I had a great stay at this gorgeous home.
