They fulfilled everything on your list and a few things more like these souvenir water bottles (they have to haul in their own water) that you get in your room and they com full but you can refill them throughout the day at various drinking water stations. So besides being environmentally friendly, the place for myself, a single woman (not gay) traveling alone was very comfortable and in no way threatening. La Selva for those who embrace it is nothing short of life changing! (And I'm well-traveled and not given to that kind of praise lightly.) Service food forest all combine to excite your five senses at once. It's a magic trick they pull off down there !
