Review:
What a great hotel. It doesn't promote itself as a green hotel, yet it succeeds in some small ways at being environmentally friendly. And it has the concept of hospitality under control.
We greatly appreciated the fabric shower curtain -- we hate plastic ones. And on wastebasket lining! Wastebaskets look so much tidier and attractive when plastic bags aren't hanging out of the top of them. Why go to the effort of putting a beautiful wastebasket in a guestroom and then ruin the look with plastic bags? And the environmental nightmare of plastic in the landfills is scary!
There were lots of pillows on the bed, and each was a different hardness and thickness. We loved having the choices. We found it funny (in an odd way) to find no hand towels at the sink for drying our hands -- they were placed across the bathroom with the bath towels and face cloths.
Customer service is top notch here. Food is delicious. This is a wonderful hotel and convenient to The Alamo, The Riverwalk and numerous San Antonio tourist sites.
