Review:
This is a nice B&B in a quiet neighborhood located for easy access to the Hana side of the island and the airport. We looked for a B&B that would let us stay with them for three nights during "peak" season and found it difficult to find one because most people seem to come and stay for a week at a time, making short bookings unpopular with innkeepers. This owner allowed it, but in her lesser room. That turned out to not be a problem since we were hardly there and wouldn't have used the lanai anyway.

Parking is a bit tight on the B&B property, but some street parking was available. It's a shoe-free home; a shoe shelf would have been a nice plus for the front porch.

The inn and our room were clean and tidy. Breakfasts were continental, self-style of fresh fruit, bread and bagels for toasting, a variety of jams, juice and Kona coffee (though few places seem to offer decaf coffee). Conversations at the table were fun and ranged from island activities, dining places to enjoy and worldly topics too.

The bathroom was carved out of our room and the shower was tiny with a vinyl shower curtain instead of fabric. It needs maintenance and de-molding. The wastebaskets are lined with plastic, adding to the landfill problems as well as air quality and detracting from the handsome look of the baskets. Our towels were a bit ratty and we couldn't tell if they were cotton or a cotton-blend.

All in all it was a nice place to stay. We loved that they honored their green policies which were posted on the back of the door and in the bathroom.
