Review:
This place is really moving in the right direction! They have taken great steps run an earth friendly business, from the efficient light bulbs, to encouraging guests to get on board by recycling in their rooms. The place is family owned and operated and they really care about what goes on in their business. They are even having a green roof installed later this summer. They have allergen free rooms for guests (like me) that have severe allergies. Those rooms have air & chlorine filters, hypoallergenic coverlets, dust mite covers on the mattress and pillows, leather furniture, and hardwood floors (to prevent dust and odors from accumulating). But I was most impressed to see they chose bamboo wood floors (because bamboo is a renewable resource!) Each year they set environmental goals for the establishment to reach. Oh yeah, and did I mention they had the friendliest staff, really nice rooms, a great pool & best location in town?
